We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario INC. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
