CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Onyx Stones & Custom Cabinets Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to understand production requirements.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts and components.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments and machine tools.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail.
  • Permanent work term with English as the primary work language.
