About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Young Boys Drywall ltd. as a Wall Covering Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decoration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Wall Covering and Decoration: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience in painting and decoration is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
