We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager, Events to join our team.

This role will be responsible for leading internal and external events for Siemens Canada, including pillar events such as the Company's Annual Leadership Conference, Managing Board Member visits, and key employee events.

You will work closely with the businesses, departments, and executive team to develop communication strategies and plans for successful event implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead internal and external events for Siemens Canada, including pillar events.
  • Develop communication strategies and plans for successful event implementation.
  • Work closely with the businesses, departments, and executive team.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure a successful event outcome.
  • Manage event budget, invoice management, and tracking/reporting key performance measures.
  • Support event content collection and creation, as well as drafting speaking remarks for presenters where required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or relevant field.
  • Over 5 years of successful experience in B2B communications, event management, and marketing.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Extremely organized and self-driven with high attention to detail and quality.
  • Demonstrated experience with event planning and management, with demonstrated background of leading audio-visual elements (Webcasts, virtual events).
  • Experience working in a large matrix organization and comfortable interacting with the executive team and all levels within the organization.
  • Must have the ability to be onsite to manage events.
  • Video editing a strong asset.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat Tools, audio-visual tools, design tools, social media.
  • Bilingualism English and French an asset.
