Machinist Specialist

Komatsu is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the construction, mining, and industrial industries. As a Journeyperson Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and quality of our equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and drill presses to machine parts to specifications.
- Write and execute programs using conversational and G-Code controls.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software to detail and write complex tool paths.
- Set up and operate field boring and milling equipment as required on customer sites.
- Inspect and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work overtime and rotating shifts as required.
- Journeyperson Machinist Trades Certification is preferred.
- Experience with G-Code programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and instruments.
- Valid driver's license and no restrictions for access to mine sites.
