Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Attendant III to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming materials, as well as maintaining inventory records and performing physical inventory counts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, unpack, and check incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring that supplies/goods are delivered as per specifications.
  • Maintain inventory records, including tracking stock levels and performing physical inventory counts.
  • Sort and place articles in appropriate areas, rotating stock and ensuring inventory shelves/areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Check invoices against orders and supplies/goods, resolving discrepancies with suppliers and/or departments.
  • Assemble, issue, and ship supplies/goods from requisition requests received, loading orders onto carts for delivery.
  • Identify damaged/spoiled goods and advise appropriate personnel, arranging for delivery and return of loan and return items.
  • Perform routine inspection/maintenance duties on vehicles and equipment, recommending repairs as required.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, providing input/feedback to the Manager on work procedures and opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid Class 5 vehicle license with no restrictions.
