We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Eaton's ES AMER PCS division in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex electrical equipment while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor and requires a thorough understanding of all standard Panelboard, Control Product, and custom product assemblies, as well as related materials. Located at one of our six satellite locations across Canada, this position involves working with smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complementing our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work according to established procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instructions from Management or Engineering.
  • Conduct visual inspections of material before and after assembly to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation, and appearance, making mechanical adjustments as needed.
  • Perform pack and ship duties.
  • Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.
  • Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals.
  • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
  • Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
  • No relocation provided; candidates must reside within 80 kilometers of Calgary, Alberta.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 months experience working in a manufacturing environment

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD based on industry standards and location.
