We have an opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual as a Facility Assistant for our Grain division based in Gladstone, Manitoba.



About Us

With over 70 locations spanning from coast to coast, and trade links around the globe, P&H is growth-oriented, diversified and vertically integrated with operations spanning across grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution and animal feed production.



Your Role

  • Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments
  • Collecting and testing grain samples
  • Handling and delivering crop input products
  • Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
  • Performing exceptional customer service duties


Requirements

  • Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions

As a Facility Assistant, you will be earning an estimated salary of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
