Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transit Driver to join our team in Prince Albert, SK. As a Transit Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional environment on board.

Responsibilities
  • You will interact with passengers in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bus interior.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
  • Assist passengers with mobility aids and report any incidents or accidents.
  • Operate on-board computer fare boxes and destination signs.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 2 Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
  • The ability to obtain Operator's License with required endorsements.
  • A record of safe and responsible driving over the past 5 years.
  • A willingness to work varied shifts.
  • A good general knowledge of the service area demographics.
  • A clean, 'No Contraventions' Driver's Abstract.
  • To pass vulnerable sector records checks and drug and alcohol testing.
Working Conditions
  • Early, split, and late shifts may be required.
  • A safety-focused, clean, and respectful environment.
  • Interaction with the public.
