We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Promotions Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation Ltd. As a Promotions Associate, you will be responsible for planning and building visually appealing displays throughout the store, ensuring maximum impact on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure promotional items are placed and priced correctly in feature areas.
  • Execute merchandise layout changes, including setting up, maintaining, and removing displays, signage, and other visual elements.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
  • Maintain feature ends, side panels, and platform displays by replenishing as needed.
  • Remove stock belonging to other locations and replace damaged or expired items when necessary.
  • Ensure retail tasks are executed efficiently, including stocking, labeling, facing, and cleaning areas.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and report low stock levels.
  • Place product and overstock in the correct locations.
  • Report stolen and damaged goods to management.
  • Assist in meeting store audit performance requirements.
  • Complete necessary paperwork daily.
  • Greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

  • No experience required - we will provide all necessary training.
  • Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks according to instructions.
  • Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including standing/walking for 8 hours, frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning, and reaching.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Result-oriented and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt to challenging situations, and make decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
