Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to join our team at YVONNE JAKOSALEM. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging educational activities to promote cognitive and social development in children
    • Assist with homework and reading to children
    • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
    • Do laundry and ironing as needed
  • Health and Safety
    • Administer first aid in emergency situations
    • Monitor children's health and report any concerns to parents
  • Transportation and Errands
    • Transport children to and from school and appointments
    • Run errands as needed
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support
    • Work collaboratively with other caregivers to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in child care or a related field
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in English
  • Certifications and Screening
    • Child Abuse Registry check
    • Child welfare check
    • Criminal record check
    • Driving record check (abstract)
    • Vulnerable sector check
