We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Student to join our team at PCL Industrial Management Inc. as a Construction Assistant.
Responsibilities- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the discussion.
- Review and analyze project drawings and documents.
- Communicate with trades staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct field safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Assist with the identification and resolution of field technical issues.
- Act as an ambassador for our company's safety campaigns.
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major.
- Strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an advantage.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Multi-discipline mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
