We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Progressive Oilfield Supply & Repair Ltd.
Responsibilities:- Assemble and maintain mechanical equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective parts, estimate costs, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, install machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs
- Must have excellent welding skills, including oxy-acetylene and shielded metal arc welding
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems, lathes, power tools, and forklifts
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
