Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Progressive Oilfield Supply & Repair Ltd.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and maintain mechanical equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatic systems
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective parts, estimate costs, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, install machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs
  • Must have excellent welding skills, including oxy-acetylene and shielded metal arc welding
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, lathes, power tools, and forklifts
