About the Role

The Corporate Affairs & Communications team at Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a skilled Communications Advisor II to support our internal and external communications efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our business objectives and strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic communications plans to enhance employee engagement and promote the IFC brand.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business units, and other stakeholders to manage projects of varying complexity and ensure effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external communications platforms, including intranet articles, website content, presentations, videos, graphics, and newsletters.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal business partners and colleagues at all levels, providing guidance on communications strategy and best practices.
  • Measure the success of communications initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in journalism, communications, blogging, or social media management.
  • Proven ability to build and execute plans to enhance employee engagement and promote the IFC brand.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including an understanding of newswriting techniques.
  • Experience creating strategic communications plans and designing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Ability to leverage a strategic brief to develop effective communications and create alignment among multiple stakeholders.
