Job Summary
The Area Real Estate Manager is responsible for identifying and acquiring prime locations for new freestanding McDonald's restaurants within their assigned geographic area. This role requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to drive business growth and success.
We are seeking an experienced real estate professional who possesses:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in site selection and unit acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating deals and creating value for clients.
- Strong knowledge of the Quick-Service-Restaurant (QSR) industry, particularly in the province of British Columbia.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining strong market knowledge and understanding of their assigned region, including coverage gaps, opportunities, trends, and competition.
- Identifying and acquiring prime locations for new freestanding McDonald's restaurants, including negotiating terms and conditions of real estate agreements.
- Collaborating with key customers to create, maintain, and update the 3-Year Strategic Plan.
- Assisting with presentation of site packages to management for approval.
- Partnering with the Area Construction Manager to prioritize development opportunities and ensure best use of capital within the region.

- A competitive salary range of $110,000 - $115,000 per year.
