We are seeking a detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team at 1827486 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our grocery store team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized stockroom, processing incoming stock, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Stockroom Management: Unpack and count products received by the store, maintain computerized stock inventory, and record incoming stock.
- Customer Service: Direct customers to the location of articles sought, provide assistance with product inquiries, and operate a cash register.
- Store Maintenance: Keep stock clean and in order, stock shelves and display areas, and price items using a stamp or stickers according to the price list.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Work Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Permanent Employment: A stable and secure work environment.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
