Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist to join our team at ROUTE KING TRANSPORT LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
    • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
    • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
    • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
    • Perform other routine maintenance tasks
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • Physically demanding work environment
    • Attention to detail and manual dexterity required
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Education and Experience:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
