Job Overview
The position of Project Technical Lead for High Voltage Substations is available at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead the technical aspects of high voltage substation projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers to manage the scope, schedule, and budget of high voltage substation projects from a technical perspective.
- Identify and manage project technical risks.
- Perform as project technical lead to liaise with internal engineering teams, clients, and third-party vendors on all technical topics.
- Develop design plans, strategies, schedules, and resource planning for engineering activities on the projects at the Identification, Definition, and Implementation phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Power Systems) with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a project engineer role related to high voltage substations for utilities in North America.
- 6 years of direct experience in physical design of high voltage (69kV and above) substation projects is required.
- Professional Engineer registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
