We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Sales Associate to join our team at KMS Kelowna Medical Supplies. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, scanning items, and tabulating total payments for goods or services required. You will also receive payment for goods or services and calculate foreign currency exchange. In addition, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to have attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be accurate, work well in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions
  • Scan items and calculate total payments
  • Receive payment for goods or services
  • Calculate foreign currency exchange
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
