About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Safeway in Vernon, BC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding customer expectations.

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver customer-centric solutions;
  • Executing pharmacy programs and product launches to promote patient service standards, drive sales, control labor, monitor margin, and control shrink;
  • Inspiring a positive, patient-focused culture and experience by developing and monitoring business plans to deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Actively engaging in all areas of Fusion to ensure seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience across locations;
  • Being an ambassador to uphold and instill company values, including championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring the pharmacy is an inclusive environment;
  • Managing the selection, onboarding, training, and development, performance management, and succession planning processes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution;
  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed pharmacist;
  • Kroll software experience is preferred;
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $100-$110 per hour, based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
