Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Wealth Management team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a key member of our IT Delivery Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technology architecture for our wealth management sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the business capabilities map for the investment area and other relevant areas, in collaboration with the business line and data governance.
  • Establish and maintain the target architecture and transformation roadmap for our technology ecosystems.
  • Ensure the healthy evolution of our application portfolio, including obsolescence, technological debt, and simplification of our overall IT ecosystem.

About the Team

You will be part of a team of 10 colleagues, reporting to the Strategy and Delivery Architect. We prioritize continuous learning and development, offering various forms of training and collaboration with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  1. Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  2. Proven experience as a Senior Architect in delivering major projects in large companies.
  3. Strong knowledge of the investment industry, including brokerage, trading, and back office operations, as well as CPG and Mutual Fund distribution and manufacturing.
  4. Mastery of modern digital ecosystem concepts, technologies, and solutions, such as Microservices, APIs, Data Flows, Security, Elasticity, PaaS, Cloud SaaS, and DevOps.
  5. AWS Cloud Architect certification is an asset.

Language Requirements

English and French are the required languages, as you will need to work closely with colleagues outside Quebec.
