We are seeking a skilled Psychologist/Psychological Associate to provide psychological assessment, consultation, and programming services to support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
Key Responsibilities- Responding to referrals from school staff pertaining to students encountering challenges in learning or behavioral domains.
- Conducting Psychological Assessments, interpreting results and writing comprehensive reports.
- Consulting with teachers and other school staff, as well as student and parents.
- Liaising with community agencies.
- Brief counseling of students and parents.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or documentation of eligibility for registration is required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- A valid driver's license and access to own transportation are also a necessity for the position.
