Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pool Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our pool and recreation areas, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wipe down pool equipment and remove trash and debris from the pool area.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in the recreation area.
  • Clean pool and recreation area restrooms and showers.
  • Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
  • Distribute lockers and towels to guests.
  • Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items.
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
  • Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • CPR Certification.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Fitness Equipment Certification.
  • Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance is also required. The ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping is also necessary.
