Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified childcare provider to join our team at Carolyn Banal. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care and support to infants and children in a busy household.

About the Role
  • Provide full-time childcare for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Engage children in educational activities such as reading, games, and other creative pursuits.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, ensuring that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents and promote well-being.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments, using public transportation or employer-provided vehicles.
  • Monitor children's health and well-being, providing basic first aid when necessary and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • A valid certificate or diploma in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and patience in a fast-paced environment.
  • A non-smoking and scent-free environment, with regular breaks and opportunities for rest and relaxation.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus opportunities, maternity and parental benefits, and employer-provided transportation.
