About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at J F S Contractors Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in various locations, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Tasks and Responsibilities:
    • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement.
    • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete.
    • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
    • Imparting a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Attention to Detail: The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
