About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Winter Equipment Operator to join our team in Antigonish and Guysborough counties. As a Winter Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating snow removal equipment such as snowplows, graders, and loaders. This includes general maintenance of the equipment, pre-and-post trip inspections, and daily logs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate snow removal equipment such as snowplows, graders, and loaders
  • Perform general maintenance of equipment, including pre-and-post trip inspections and daily logs
  • Work in all weather conditions and be flexible with work assignments
  • Provide excellent customer service and work in a team environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience or an acceptable equivalency of education, training, and relevant experience
  • A minimum of Class III license with air brake endorsement
  • Reading and writing skills to understand department documentation and complete daily logs, inspection reports, etc.
