Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Carpenter to join our team at G Star Homes Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, instructing apprentices, mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Repairing cracks and holes
Requirements:
  • Drywall taping/patching experience
  • Residential construction specialization
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work physically demanding tasks
  • Manual dexterity
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include a permanent work term, 30-40 hours of work per week, and English language requirements.
