Job Title: Renovation Helper

Dezire Renovations Inc. is seeking a skilled Renovation Helper to join our team. As a key member of our renovation crew, you will assist in various aspects of construction, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Help frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs under the supervision of experienced crew members.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and tools.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and bending.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and maintenance.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Handle heavy loads, including construction materials and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will Train: Willingness to learn and train on the job.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Hardworking: Demonstrated hardworking attitude and commitment to quality work.
Language and Work Schedule:
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 44 hours per week.
