About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Dog World Resort & Spa Inc. as a key member of our animal care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe and shampoo animals with attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness.
  • Clip and style animal coats to ensure a healthy and attractive appearance.
  • Clean and disinfect animal enclosures, cages, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Keep accurate records of animals treated and their care.
  • Perform dental cleaning and nail trimming services for domestic animals.
  • Provide exceptional client service and ensure a positive experience for pet owners.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pet grooming shop or pet shop environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a pet grooming shop environment, handling a variety of breeds and types of animals. The role requires standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
