Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer

At IMW Industries dba Clean Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept generation and design detail
  • Equipment specifications and selection
  • Production drawings and design
  • Communication with production team for cost-effective and productive designs
Requirements:
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Eligible for enrollment as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in Canada
  • Training or experience in ASME codes considered an asset
Preferred Skills:
  • 1+ years of 3D modelling experience
  • 1+ years of design experience
  • Knowledge of heat exchanger and piping design is an asset
Working Conditions:

Regularly required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to operate computers, office equipment; use vision and hearing when working with communication and office materials.

Language:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production staff and vendors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure information is correctly documented and put into action
Computer Skills:
  • SolidWorks
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to learn new programs as required
