Senior Consultant, Corporate Reporting

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Corporate Reporting to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our corporate reporting team, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale financial systems projects, providing expert advice and consultation on financial application technology alternatives and solutions, and championing project management methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage large-scale financial systems projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
- Provide expert advice and consultation on financial application technology alternatives and solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
- Champion project management methodologies and best practices, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure effective project delivery.
- Research and analyze market, technology, and industry trends and standards related to financial systems, providing recommendations on the use and evolution of applications and tools.
- Prepare, manage, and evaluate the procurement of external services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Seven years' recent related experience with developing financial applications and/or financial application reporting in a large complex organization, including at least three years experience as a project manager.
- CPA recognized professional accounting designation would be an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Advanced knowledge of information management, business processes, technologies, and applications.
- Ability to translate business needs into application architecture requirements.
- Ability to consult, plan, implement, organize, problem solve, and meet deadlines in a complex environment at all levels of the organization.
