Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at DelMonte Hotel Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional service to our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all facilities, including offices, locker rooms, and washrooms.
  • Prepare and maintain food and beverage equipment and locations for events.
  • Ensure all facilities are stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling programs.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including painting and carpentry.
  • Lift and move heavy equipment and supplies, up to 40lbs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • WHIMIS certification.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
  • Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40lbs.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and stooping. The employee must be able to adjust focus and have close vision.
