As a Digital Security Specialist for Threat Reduction and Risk Mitigation, you will play a critical role in reducing our attack surface and improving our overall security resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems, applications, and networks, leveraging your strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Attack Surface Analysis: Analyze and map out the organization's attack surface, including endpoints, network components, applications, and cloud environments, to identify areas of risk and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies and controls to reduce attack vectors and minimize potential entry points for malicious activities, utilizing your knowledge of security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Risk Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging threats and vulnerabilities and assess their impact on our attack surface, staying current with industry trends, threat intelligence, and emerging technologies.
  • Incident Response Support: Collaborate with the Incident Response team to address and resolve security incidents related to identified vulnerabilities or attack vectors, providing clear communication and technical expertise.

You will work closely with various teams, including I&O, Risk, SOC, SecDevOps, and others, to integrate security practices into development and deployment processes. You will also maintain detailed documentation of vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and mitigation actions, preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders on security posture and risk status.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Security Operations, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, or a similar position, with a strong background in security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with risk management, including risk analysis, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Security+ or CISSP certification, or equivalent.
