Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing sales staff, handling customer complaints, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and authorize payments by cheque.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
