Job Summary
As a Medical Technologist or Medical Technologist at CISSS de l'Outaouais, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by performing laboratory tests and analyses to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, providing valuable insights for healthcare professionals to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on human specimens or tissue samples
- Ensure the validity and reliability of test results for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain laboratory standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Diploma in Biomedical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
- Membership in the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
