About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a Store Operations Manager responsible for leading a team of sales professionals in a luxury goods retail environment.

Job Description:

  • You will be responsible for driving business results, developing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
  • You will also be responsible for managing the store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and maintaining payroll budgets.
  • Additionally, you will partner with the warehouse to effectively manage workload planning, markdowns, and merchandise flow processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business-driving initiatives that build repeat business or attract new customers.
  • Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, A.D.T., U.P.T., and capture rate.
  • Ensure all associates and leadership complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
  • Model and supervise the selling environment, provide consistent coaching on sales training process to ensure high-level customer service and sales.
  • Assist the Senior Store Leader/Area Leader with achieving financial success through improvement of measurable results that positively impact store performance.
  • Lead by example with achievement of personal sales goals and educate team on product, sales plans, personal goals, measurable stats, and coach to these stats to ensure business is maximized.
  • Ability to network in the community to ensure open positions are filled efficiently with little impact to the business; build a bench for future promotions and openings.
  • Ensure all open positions are posted and managed through iCIMs.
  • Onboard new team members effectively through 30/60/90 touch bases; conduct ongoing review and assessment of employee performance through monthly meetings with direct reports.
  • Utilize mid-year and annual review process as a tool for associate development and advancement; monitor and address performance concerns on a timely basis, partnering HR when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years management experience in a comparable retail environment.
  • Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports, identify trends, and react quickly to business needs.
  • Proficient in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
