We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter - Wholesale to join our team at J & F SEAFOOD CORP. in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare standard cuts of meat for wholesale distribution.
- Wrap and package prepared meats to ensure quality and presentation.
- Weigh meats for sale and maintain accurate records.
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for wholesale distribution.
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets to meet customer demands.
- Prepare special orders to meet customer specifications.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required, and attention to detail is essential.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads.
