Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions, handling cash, credit card, and debit payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including displaying merchandise and creating attractive store displays.
  • Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • Advertise and promote products, sales, or services through various channels.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with exhibit and display design, including computer-interactive or multi-media displays.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
