About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned developer with a passion for building scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems. As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll work closely with our cross-functional team to design, build, and ship backend services, experiments, and products that delight millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences
  • Design and build backend services, experiments, and products using Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby
  • Work closely with our super-talented cross-functional team to prioritize and scope projects
  • Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight and expertise

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
