Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Gwireless Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week
Work Environment

Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail are required for this position.
