* Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment
* Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and keeping records
* Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
* Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
* Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
* Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
* Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
* Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Experience an asset
* Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* Criminal record check
