Job Summary

Omega Formwork Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter - Formwork Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials for construction projects
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and handle heavy loads
  • Collaborate with a team of 1-2 people to achieve project goals
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
