About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Specialist to join our team at ACE LANDSCAPING LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Plan the incorporation of landscape structures to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces
  • Read blueprints and other instructions to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, and espalier pruning
  • Estimate costs and prepare contracts and tenders for clients
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products to maintain the health and appearance of outdoor spaces
  • Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease, and develop strategies for prevention and treatment
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
  • Plant and move trees to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
