The ideal candidate will have a vocational diploma in mechanics and five years' experience as a workshop or road technician. They will be passionate about agriculture, business, or the industrial field and possess manual dexterity, diagnostic skills, autonomy, resourcefulness, quick execution, discipline, and excellent customer service skills. Ideally, they will have completed an apprenticeship program in mechanics.


This role requires traveling to client locations to evaluate, diagnose, and repair equipment or machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for registering extra work on the work order, informing clients and workshop foremen, answering technical questions from customers, obtaining payment for services rendered, ensuring cleanliness of the mobile unit, and managing parts inventory while adhering to health and safety standards.


We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include group insurance after 3 months of seniority, RRSP with employer participation after 3 months of seniority, 4 paid days for personal or sick leave, access to a service unit, annual funds for purchasing new safety boots and work tools, provided workwear, corporate discounts, and ongoing training through our in-house trainer and John Deere.
