Job Title: Supply International Language Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Supply International Language Instructor to join our team at the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction in various languages to students in our schools. This is a temporary/casual position, and assignments will be made on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and language skills
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student success
  • Record and maintain accurate attendance records
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Diploma plus additional teacher training or training in language teaching methodologies
  • Teaching experience in the Canadian classroom
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in the target language
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Successful candidates must be practicing Roman Catholics, verified through a Pastoral Reference letter from a Parish Priest
