Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Wonderful Specialty Threads. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our stockroom, ensuring that our merchandise is accurately inventoried and stored, and that our sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, including receiving and processing inventory shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems and processes to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to ensure that the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing, and that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Non-smoking work environment.
  • Air conditioned work environment.
  • Retail service establishment work setting.
  • 35 to 44 hours per week.
