Job Title: Personal Support Worker

CarePartners is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our team in the Haliburton area. As a Personal Support Worker, you will work with patients and their families to provide support and care in their homes.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a community-based setting, providing wrap-around care to patients in their homes. You will work as part of a team to provide support with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and medication assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and medication assistance
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for patients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
