Job Title: Local Delivery Driver

At Mckeough Supply, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks at customer and vendor locations
  • Drive company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues to management
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with customers and colleagues as needed
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing or building products
  • Experience using material handling equipment
