Job Title: Household Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Cleaner to join our team at JOHN NEWELL. As a Household Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
• Household Chores: Stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
• Laundry and Repairs: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
• Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
• Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.

Work Environment: Non-smoking, work in employer's/client's home, free parking available.
