Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Kamloops, British Columbia. As a key member of our Distribution Business, you will be responsible for engine repairs and maintenance in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field
  • Develop productive customer relationships and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
  • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance
  • Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation and quality forms
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
  • Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation

Requirements

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Journeyperson certification

Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Basic level field service work experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Customer service experience

Mine site experience considered an asset.

This position will follow all terms and conditions set out in the IUOE CBA. Shift schedule: 5X2 or 4X3, Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend opportunities available.

Compensation and Benefits
